Intellectual property

Content protected by industrial property rights
The names, images, logos or any other distinctive signs on the Site that identify Symag, its partners or third parties or their products and services are protected by trademarks law, design law and/or copyright.

Content protected by copyright in artistic and literary works
The overall structure, editorial content, images, audio, video or multimedia, software and databases used and all other Site content are protected by copyright, similar rights and/or sui generis rights of the producer of the database.

Ownership rights to protected content
Symag, its partners or third parties alone have the aforesaid intellectual property rights to all Site content.

Reservation of rights to protected content
Subject to the sole reservation of restrictive application of legal exceptions, any total or partial reproduction or representation of distinctive signs or content on the Site without the prior written consent of Symag, its partners or third parties, is prohibited and constitutes a civil and criminal offence (infringement).

Protection of personal data

Symag and its partners respect and protect the personal data of users of the Site under the terms of the law of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms. Symag or its partners process personal data among other things to allow access to and use of the Site and its Services, to process users' inquiries, to run market research campaigns and to compile statistics.

Processing data relating to the Services
Signing up for, accessing and/or using certain Services may require the processing of personal data. Any data thus processed is supplied freely by users wishing to access or use a Service requiring such processing, or is supplied by one of the partners to the other partner. Processing technical data
Symag also automatically records certain types of technical data.Technical data that may be recorded by Symag when the Site is accessed or used includes the user's IP address, configuration details (type of machine, browser, etc.) and browsing details (date, time, pages viewed, any errors, etc.). This information may be stored in short text files (cookies) on the user's computer. Users can disable cookies at any time, or delete cookies already on their computer, by adjusting privacy settings in their web browser (for instance: Tools > Clear history > Cookies in Mozilla Firefox, or Tools > Delete browsing history > Delete cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer). Symag and its partners make every effort to ensure normal operation of the Site, its Services and the accuracy of the information it contains.

Partners' liability
The Services are presented on the Site by and under the sole responsibility of Symag. Accordingly, LaSer Symag cannot be held liable for any content published and/or Services offered by another partner on this Site.

Limited liability
In view of the technical uncertainties concerning the decentralized operation of the Internet, Symag and its partners provide the Site "as is" and cannot guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the information provided on the Site, nor can they guarantee the Site's compliance or continuity of service or the absence of errors or third-party intrusions on the Site. Symag and its partners can on no account be held liable for any damage and/or loss arising therefrom for the user. In this respect, Symag and its partners reserve the right to suspend access to the Site to carry out correction, updating or maintenance operations. Symag and its partners shall in any event not be liable for consequential damage, and more particularly any loss of business, non-pecuniary or pecuniary damage, including any loss of profits caused by or attributable to use of the Site.
